Confidential Intake

Your journey with us begins with a completely confidential and possible anonymous intake process. We prioritize your privacy from the very first interaction, using secure communication platforms like Signal to ensure your identity remains protected.

One-on-One Physician Peer Support

You’ll be paired with a fellow physician who truly understands the challenges you’re facing. This one-on-one peer support allows for open, empathetic conversations where you can express your struggles without fear or judgment. We’re here to listen, share our experiences, and guide you toward solutions that work for you.

No Reporting, No Documentation

We believe in absolute confidentiality. There is no reporting to any agency—everything you share with us stays with us. We don’t keep any discoverable documentation unless you specifically approve it. Your privacy is our top priority.

Coordinating the Care You Need

If you need additional support—whether it’s counseling, therapy, or other forms of medical or mental health care—we will help organize and coordinate the right care for you. We’ll guide you through the process and connect you with the appropriate resources, ensuring that all steps are taken discreetly and tailored to your needs.

Listening Without Judgment

Our primary goal is to provide a safe, stigma-free environment where you can talk openly about burnout, depression, suicidal thoughts or substance abuse. We are here to help, not to judge, report, or complicate your life. Every step of our process is designed to empower you with the support and resources you need, at your own pace and on your own terms.

Emergency Support

We are available for urgent issues through text or a phone call, ensuring you have quick access to support when you need it most. Whether you’re facing a critical moment or just need to talk, we are here for you. Please note that if you are experiencing a medical/psychiatric emergency such as suicide plan, substance withdrawal, or substance overdose - call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Free Service

SafeHavenMD is currently offered as a free service at no charge to the client. However, in the future, we may implement a fee structure for our services. For now, our priority is making sure you receive the support you need without any financial barriers.
